Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to TaskyLand, a family task, habit, reward, and child motivation app for parents, guardians, invited adults, and children using parent-managed child profiles.
1. The service
TaskyLand helps families organize chores, habits, learning activities, screen-time breaks, proof submissions, approvals, coins, XP, and rewards. The app is not a school, medical, therapy, financial, or emergency service.
2. Who may use TaskyLand
- A parent or legal guardian must create and manage the family account.
- Child profiles must be created, connected, supervised, and deleted by a parent or guardian.
- Invited adults may receive permissions set by the family owner or parent.
- App-store reviewers may access the app using test credentials provided privately in the store console.
3. Account responsibility
- Use accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- Do not share parent access with children or unauthorized people.
- Remove lost child devices and invited adults who should no longer have access.
- Notify us at support@taskyland.cloud if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Try to access another family's account, children, tasks, media, or rewards.
- Interfere with servers, APIs, notifications, rate limits, or security controls.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, explicit, or rights-infringing content.
- Use TaskyLand for surveillance, harassment, exploitation, or unsafe child interactions.
- Reverse engineer or abuse the app in a way that violates applicable law.
5. Family content and proof media
Families own the tasks, notes, reward rules, child profile information, and proof media they add. You grant TaskyLand a limited right to store, process, display, synchronize, and delete that content only as needed to operate the service and provide support.
6. Child safety and moderation
Parents are responsible for choosing age-appropriate tasks and rewards. TaskyLand may restrict access, remove content, or suspend accounts when there is a safety risk, policy violation, abuse, security incident, or legal requirement.
7. Rewards, coins, XP, and screen-time features
Coins, XP, avatars, streaks, and in-app progress are motivational features. They do not represent money, stored value, gambling, or a financial product. Real-life rewards are defined and approved by the parent or guardian.
8. App availability and changes
TaskyLand is evolving through beta, closed testing, and release stages. We may change, add, remove, or limit features, interfaces, regions, or technical requirements. We try to avoid disruption, but the service is provided on an availability basis.
9. Third-party services
TaskyLand may use app stores, authentication providers, cloud infrastructure, storage, and push-notification services. Those third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
TaskyLand is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from app use, service interruptions, user content, family reward decisions, or third-party services.
11. Termination
You may stop using TaskyLand at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if continued access creates legal, safety, or security risk.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use. Continued use of TaskyLand after an update means you accept the updated terms.
